About Easy Care Residential

Your Happiness is our Mission

At Easy Care Residential, we believe that every individual deserves the chance to lead a happy, fulfilling life—and be treated with kindness and compassion. It’s a philosophy we put into practice every day at each of our facilities, helping those with autism-spectrum disorder and other learning disabilities cultivate the relationships and life skills they need to not only grow, but thrive.

Unlike many care providers, which often treat the needs of individuals as secondary, our homes are meant to make residents feel like they’re … well, home! Residents are given their own room, helping them cultivate a sense of independence. In addition, our homes are in vibrant neighborhoods, within walking distance of public resources and local businesses.

While we currently offer services in York and Cumberland counties (specifically in the Portland and Biddeford-Saco areas), we’re looking to expand to other counties in the near future. We’re currently headquartered at 407 Alfred Street (Suite 201) in Biddeford.

We don’t just provide great care; we charge significantly less than the competition. How do we do it? Simple: Because we serve smaller groups, each home only requires one professional on-site. That allows us to focus our attention where it matters most: on the health and wellbeing of our residents.

We understand that some residents aren’t able to work. We also know that true fulfillment means not just meeting your obligations, but enjoying life. That’s why we give each resident a monthly spending stipend, so they can get out of the house and go to dinner, take in a movie or show their friend or family member a good time.

We see your loved one’s happiness and fulfillment as a collaborative endeavor. From that first phone call to their last night under our roof, our goal is to work with you—to ensure their experience is as positive and empowering as possible.

All Easy Care homes are fully licensed by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. In addition, our team of Direct Support Professionals are all CRMA-certified and trained to work with both residents and third-party professionals.
